World War 2 Ace’s Family Stumped Over Owner Of Auctioned Legs.

The family of World War 2 flying ace Sir Douglas Bader are disgusted by the news that the former hero’s false legs had allegedly been bought by Lady Heather. The Aluminium legs which had been part of a private collection by a reclusive collector were auctioned at Christies recently as part of the collector’s estate.

At the time of the auction it was stated that the legs had fallen into the hands of a private collector however over the last twelve months speculation has been made as to the true owner’s identity. After a major investigation by your favourite news team we can at last confirm that Lady Mills has become the owner of the flying ace’s appendages.

We spoke to a spokesman for the Bader family and he confirmed, they the family are utterly shocked at the news that has reached them. When grandfather Bader died we could have just dumped his legs in the bin but we thought someone out there would give them a good home, providing they stumped up a good price for them. We had no problem auctioning his legs but we didn’t think someone like her would end up owning them. A spokesman at Christies confirmed that it was true that Lady Heather had stumped up the £1 Million it cost to buy the legs. It has not been confirmed however, if Lady Mills has taken up flying yet.

After the recent news that Sir Paul and Lady Heather have finally divorced on acrimonious terms the Bader family have concerns over the matter. The Bader Family spokesman explained that the Bader family are worried that Lady Heather may have damaged the legs after it was reported Sir Paul had been hit over the head in one of their many fights during their 4 years of marriage.
