A new X-ray technique has revealed a previously unknown portrait of an ugly old woman by Vincent van Gogh, which was painted over by the artist.
The peasant woman's face was hidden behind the work Patch of Grass, completed by Van Gogh in Paris in 1887. Experts are trying their best to find the identity of the woman. It has been rumored that the searchers should look no further than at Prince Charles's home as a similar ugly old woman has been spotted on numerous occasions in the company of his highness.
